Welcome to the World, Baby G!

One of the best things that happened last month was the birth of my new nephew! Everyone in the family was ecstatic. He came out so cute and healthy as expected. His parents and sister are so proud; and so are we. We welcome you to this world baby G. We love you so much. The world is a better place with you on it.

Sinner

I consider myself very sinful because of neglecting my blog for so long. I was so busy with work and school that I did not even have the time to post.

I AM SO SORRY.

I hope I can make it up soon to my blog and to my blogger friends. Miss you all!

I Need a Pedicure!

I have been busy for the past two weeks and I admit... I am stressed to the bone. Despite this, I still feel happy because I have a job. I feel tired but I am not complaining. I am happy to be one of the lucky ones who are able to work and get paid.

As a reward for myself, I am thinking of having a pedicure. But tomorrow is Monday once again. I am not sure if I will have the time to go to a salon to have one. Thinking about it, I haven't had a pedicure for more than 3 months. Gosh!

Short Notice

As you may have noticed I was "quiet" and gone for a few days. To tell you the truth I am swamped with work and studies. I will be taking a short break from blogging THIS WEEK. That is, only until Friday Sept. 6.

This week is quite busy for me and I am not actually sure if I will survive it! LOL!

Flower(s) for Me!

For the first time in our entire marriage, my husband gave me flowers! It shocked the life out of me, really! But I can say I have never felt happier because what he did was so unexpected of him.

I was rushing lots of writing work, I felt harassed, tired, dirty, and sleepy. My eyes hurt from all the working. All of a sudden, my dog Z came into the computer room and... surprise of all surprises... he was carrying a piece of rose in his mouth. At first, I though that my mischievous dog has once again picked up some trash and brought it inside LOL! My eyes cleared a bit and I clearly saw that he was carrying a single rose wrapped in decorative plastic. And then, followed my husband.

My husband, afterwards, told me that he couldn't forget the look and smile on my face when I saw the flower! Hahaha! You couldn't blame me. Of course, every woman would love to receive flowers especially from the man they love.

When I got up from bed this morning, one of the first things I did was to check my blog . I was happy to see that Nilz of Fancy Shoppe has left me a post comment saying that she has an award for me. I felt happy as usual...

I am one of those persons who appreciate the things people do or give to them. Whether they are material or gestures, I feel thankful to those who have thought of me. In blogging, I am thankful to all my readers, friends, hoppers who never tire to visit my blog. I am thankful to those who take time to leave comments, drop cards, vote, and read. Even in this world of blogging, we have found something that connect us all whether it is an experience, a situation, an emotion or simply a good read.

Long Weekend

Once again, we have a long weekend. Three days of no "official work". We rarely get long breaks and it is nice to have an extra day or two. For today, I plan to do some house cleaning, laundry, a bit of blogging, and some advance work scheduled for the week.

If I have extra time, I would probably defragment my PC and bathe my big dog.
