The Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics was indeed a very big event for the whole world. Most countries were tuned in to the developments. All were surely rooting for their country's athletes. The opening ceremony itself was quite an extravaganza of color, lights and pride. I salute to all the athletes especially to the Filipinos who are competing in the Beijing Olympics!
