I am totally dependent on my computer. I need the internet as much as I need to wake up each day. And a few days ago, my PC crashed. Slowly... but surely. My PC had served me well... longer than expected. I loved it and will always be thankful for its many years of servitude =) Maybe, the time has come for it to rest...
It all started with me having problems with my headset. As an ESL teacher, I use my headset a lot. Without a headset, no work. Without the internet, no work. Without my PC, no work.
No work, no money.
So I was in panic. I bought a new headset but it didn't solve the problem. After a day, my PC stopped working altogether. The internet was often unstable, so that was not a new problem.
And so, for some days, I've lost contact to the blogging world. (Sorry for that, amigos!) I do not have enough savings handy for a new PC. My temporary solution: borrow my siter's CPU. And yes, I did. I actually went over her house, carried her CPU and voila! now I have something.
But of course, all these are temporary. As of now, I do not know how to solve it. In these hard times, buying a new computer is hard to swallow. Let me think and count my coins...
